Earliest I can remember, my father's father showed up with his many wives. I can't remember what was going on other than that except when he finally pulled me aside into my half-brother's room.
He said, "I know you hate me..."
but I interrupted and said, "No! I don't hate you."
Then basically, the gist was he wanted me to go out to town with him to explore but I didn't want to. While I was rambling in my response, it suddenly occurred to me that it sounded like he was offering $2,000. I said, "What?"
He replied, "I'll give you half of $1,000 if you go."
I said next, "You'll give me $500 to spend while we're out there?"
And he seemed uncertain but said yes.
I went into the hallway and found my mother. I told her about the $500 thing. Nothing much happened after except that the guy left with one wife while his other wives stayed behind.

Earliest I can remember of this part, I am in a classroom. The teacher was handing out papers and I realized it had my poem on it. He was using my poem as an example. He seemed excited as he passed it out.
I got real angry. I had a 'flashback' that I had found this poem yesterday and now it shows up in his possession? I threw a little fit and he gathered the papers to throw away.
Suddenly the class went real quiet and I knew the teacher was dejected because I had killed his assignment. This kept on going... we were all sitting around while the teacher was sitting. I knew the classroom lights were off and the blinds were open to let the sunlight in.
When class ended, I told the teacher that I was upset but not anymore. I was surprised that my poem was being used as an example without my permission.

All I remember from this part, my gray shirt kept falling apart until it revealed my chest and stomach. I pulled on a black sweater to hide my torn shirt.
Additional Comments:
On the grandfather issue, He wasn't the same guy as my actual grandfather. He was just some character in the dream. I don't know what the multiple wives would represent. I'm thinking it was influenced by Big Love on HBO.
