There was some sort of virus or something going around that was turning people into monsters and it was transferred through bites. In my room, I noticed that my dog, Bear, was in my closet. His eyes were.. hyper-blue or electric blue. That's when I knew he was infected. I kept my closet doors closed while he was growling and trying to fight his way out. I did something like using strings or something to keep the doors tied together so that he couldn't come out.
I was panicking because I wondered if I had time to gather some clothes or if I had to flee the place with just my pajamas on. I got a suitcase and filled it with clothes. I also grabbed a pillow. I eventually fled outside and I noticed my entire family was outside. My father had been bitten on the arm and I knew it wouldn't be long before he would turn.
I was ready to hit the road and travel until a safe place could be found.
