Whilst most dream dictionaries in paper form are compiled by experts in the field, it can be argued that, because of the subjective nature of dreams, they might not reflect the real meaning of the terms as they are defined by just a few people.
The intent of this area is for an accurate dream dictionary to arise from the collective use of many dreamers. Definitions of the terms would be given by the people on this website. For each term there could be several definitions and people can vote for the definition they feel to be most accurate. The prominent properties of the terms should then come to the forefront.
Over time, a powerful dream analysis aid would emerge from this effort. Hopefully the definitions contained within would reflect the majority of people, whilst still providing alternatives for minorities.
